Seam-welded drum feeding into stepper conveyor→Stepper robotic arm positions the drum body→Moves into flanging machine station(Flanging)→Beading→Corrugating(Option)→Seam positioning→Top seaming→180°tilting→Bottom seaming→Seam positioning→Leakage testing(Weld seam & end triangle area)

1. Flanging station
1) The arm-type robotic gripper stepper conveyor consists of two sets of pneumatic grippers, which clamp the drums’ body. These two sets of grippers are connected by friction-resistant linear bearings.
2) The flanging process is servo-controlled, ensuring smooth operation during production. The body edge and drum body meet the requirements of the seaming process.
3) The flanging machine is equipped with an automatic quick-change mold function to adapt to different production processes. The upper flanging mechanism has three sets of dies with quick-change positions: Open top(1A2)/Tight head(1A1)/220L Tight head; the bottom flanging mechanism has two sets of dies with quick-change positions: Open top(1A2)/Tight head(1A1).
2. Beading station
1) The bead spacing of the beading machine must be quickly adjusted to meet various production process requirements. The beading power is provided by a servo-driven precision reducer, with digital automatic adjustment of the beads height.
2) The beading machine’s lifter is servo-driven, allowing customers to configure two or three expansions ribs (or more if needed). The bead spacing and position are digitally set, and the two intermediate sections can be adjusted 200-305mm as needed.
3) Beading machine’s drum height automatic adjustment range: 850mm-1000mm
4) Bead height automatic adjustment range: 4-15±3mm
5) Drum body diameter is compatible: Φ555-Φ590mm


3. Corrugating station(Optional)
1) The corrugator operates smoothly, ensuring accurate positioning of the drum body during the corrugation process.
2) The inner and outer surfaces of the steel drum remain scratch-free after corrugation.
3) To meet process requirements, this machine features four quick-change dies positions, with factory default settings of W-ribbed(no corrugation),W-ribbed(3-corrugated),W-ribbed(4-corrugated) and W-ribbed(5-corrugated).
4) The corrugation depth is servo-controlled for precise accuracy, with digital depth adjustment within a range of 0-5±1mm.
5) The clamping and lifting mechanisms of the corrugator are both servo-controlled; the drum height adjustment range is 850-1000mm.
4. Seaming station(2 sets)
1) The clamping arm stepping conveyor structure consists of two sets of pneumatic clamping arms on the left and right sides, securing the drum body in place. These two sets of clamping arms are connected by friction-resistant linear bearings, and the servo motor controls the forward and backward stepping motion.
2) The seaming clamping mechanism uses four guide posts to reduce rotational offset, ensuring smoother rotation and better, more stable sealing quality.
3) The seaming clamping mechanism utilizes servo control and hydraulic pressure, with pressure and flow set digitally, ranging from 6 to 10 bar. The drum height is automatically adjusted by a servo motor, with an accuracy of 0.01 mm and a length range of 850-1000 mm.
